Go East Summer Schools are offered every year by universities in the region on a wide range of topics. From 1.03.2022, it will be possible for students to apply to attend one of the 47 summer schools in 20 countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.

The two-track application procedure requires interested applicants to apply to the summer school for admission and to the DAAD for a scholarship. The application deadline in the DAAD portal is identical to the application deadline of the respective summer school. Applications are open to German students of all disciplines who are registered as full students at universities and universities of applied sciences.

The application portal is open from 01.03. - 31.08.2022. You can apply for up to 3 summer schools, the DAAD deadlines are identical to the respective deadlines of the summer schools. The participating summer schools are listed at the bottom of the page as of 15.02.2022.
